I first met Danno and Anne Camper in June of 1999 while traveling to the ABMC national in Billings, Montana. I had really come to see Anne's older dog Elan. However, I would never forget my impression of Danno's temperament (then not quite 2 yrs old). He was a sensible calm house dog that took turns visiting the 4 of us that sat at Anne's kitchen table looking at pictures of Elan. The 2nd time I met Danno was in the fall of 2000. I again had the thoughts that this dog should be part of my breeding program I loved his sensible get along and trainable temperament. Danno also met Rave during this visit, she was only 7 months old and they had a blast rolling around in the dirt and playing, with Danno most of the time on his back for this silly puppy girl.
I again had a chance to see Danno and Anne in Missoula Montana for the ABMC supported entry show in June of 2003. This time I also had a chance to meet some of his pups and I was just sure he was the right choice for Rave. I'm so excited to see the pups; I expect a high degree of work ethic, and trainability.
